Hi,
I don't have much experience with STATA, and so I'm in need for some help.
I have a dataset of all participant in a particular work program during the period of 2012m1 to 2018m12. I have the end date for those who finished the program before the extraction date (2018m12), and of course the end date is missing for those who where still in the program at 2018m12. I also have information on personal characteristics such as age, gender and whether the person is an immigrant or not.
I would like to estime/predict the duration of the program for those who were still in the program at 2018m12. I'm told I can use the Kaplan-Meier estimator, but I'm not familiar with it.
can someone help me with a simple guide to how to approach this, please?
Thanks in advance!
