Hi,
I'm new to STATA 16. Looking for advice on calculating risk ratios and their confidence intervals. May data set has number of events (hospitalization) in treated and controls and has numbers of subjects in treated arm (total at risk) and numbers of subjects in control arm (total at risk). I do not have data on how many treated or control subjects did or did not have events (ie were there 10 events in 6 subjects or 10 events in 10 subjects).
I can hand calculate risk and risk ratio - treated events/treated at risk / control events/controls at risk but I'm looking to do this through STATA and generate RR and confidence intervals. When looking to do it through the "tables for epidemiologists" link I need to have data on the number of patients who had events for the 2x2 tables which I'm missing.
Any help appreciated. Thanks
