Hello,
I am having a question regarding the interpretation of a variable in my regression. I have panel data on climatic variation in cities. I define temperature anomalies as
(mean temp at city s in year t) - (long run mean temp at city s) / (std of long run mean temp at city s)
and these temperature anomalies are my main explanatory variable. I then interprete "A one standard deviation increase in this anomaly leads to an increase in the dependent variable by beta". However, I want to see how many degrees Celsius this standard increase is on average across my sample. Could somebody help me how I could get this?
Would appreciate any help, thanks!
