How do i create a new variable based on known frequencies.

Fx i have been send a list on frequencies in my control group having tissue type 1,2,3,4,5,6,7. Now i want to create a variabel in stata that has 300 with type 1, 55 with type 2, 234 with type 3 and so on. so that i can make chi squared and many other tests afterwards.
