Hello,

I have completed making a synthetic control method model of Russia after the intervention of sanctions imposed on them in 2014. I have temporarily only included 3 variables for the predictors matrix, being population, capital stock and fuel % of exports.

The problem I am having is that the synthetic control for Russia does not seem to be matching no matter how I arrange the data or specify time periods in the code. Example attached above

I am wondering what I am doing wrong. Is it the variables I have chosen or lack of?
