I am using survey data which i was able to download for each year directly into stata. However i want to combine my data for the years so that i am able to run a regression using the years as a dummy variable. The variables are the same for all the different datasets each year however the number of participants in the survey is not. How can i combine my datasets? Do i use the "append" or "merge"?
