Dear all,
I need help with running a fixed effect regression in Stata, but let me tell you in advance what is my data about: I need to run a regression for +600 banks from 2006 to 2019 (yearly data). When I apply the command "xtset id t" Stata tells me that there are repeated time values within panel r(451); id refers to bank name whereas t refers to time period.
Is the above message correct? my total number of observations equal 6851 and the total number of duplications = 6200. Indeed the same ids are observed several times as we have bank X repeated14 times (from 2006 to 2019) so I am not sure how to overcome the above issue.
Any piece of advice?
