Is there a rough way to calculate how much time a reshape from wide to long should take, or what is practicably possible for the command to handle?
I have approx 6000 observations and about 1300 variables. 420 of those variables are the stub variables.
I have no idea if I lack processing power in my PC to perform the task, so far I have been unsuccessful and the STATA window ends up not responding. I am currently running the command for nearly two hours and whilst the circle in bottom right indicates work is being done I want to know when I should reasonably expect the task to be finished. I am running STATA 16.1 MP if that is relevant
