I have panel data and want to create a table that shows the development of the variable digital terms over time. One table shall provide the information by year and industry. And one table shall provide it by year and country. I use Stata 16.
I created a variable that shows the amount of digital terms in an annual report for a firm in a particular year.
As well, I have the information for the industry and country for each firm observation.
Now, I would like to compare the development of the digital terms over the years (2007-2016) by creating a table. Each cell of the table should show the means of digital terms of those firm observations that are in that one particular industry in that one particular year. I am not sure how I can create this table with the mean values.
