Hi everyone,
I am trying to run a backtesting model for the data I have. I am not an expert with stata and therefore do not know how to do it. I will try to explain how my data looks in the most convenient way:
So I have 1,277 obs; 29 years which are shown as rows, 428 variables which are weather variables corresponding to 1 week of the year (e.g. Week 1_Precipitation, Week 2_Temperature). These are the independent variables, and the dependent variable is a variable called 'Happiness'. I wanted to run a forecast based on the linear regression which shows graphically the 'Happiness for each Year' based on the past.
Is there any way to do so?
Thank you so much for your help.
Alvaro
