Hey, I hope you all safe and well.
I'm a new to STATA and doing multiple regression modeling using xtmelogit. My hypothesis stated that the interaction between an individual level independent variable (X) and the country regulation rigidity is negatively associated with my dependent variable (Y). Where the direct effects of both X and the moderator (regulations rigidity) are positive and significant (p<0.001)
The result of the regression for the interaction terms support the hypothesis (negative significant coefficient) as well as my robustness test when I split the database into 4 groups high top, top, bottom and low bottom.
Yet, when I plot the interaction using Jeremy Dawson Excel file,
the graph shows that countries with high regulations rigidity will have higher value of individual level independent variable (X).
Which is opposite to what the results shows.
Thanks for your help in advance
