Hello!

Quick question regarding time dummies.

I have data from 4 quarters of the Labour Force Survey and have appended them together. I would like to create a time variable that has values 1-4 depending on what quarter the observation is from.

How would I create this new variable? (Sorry this is probably a stupid question!)

Using StataIC 16.
