Hi all.
I'm using voter data from Anes but have a problem about the data only giving me the state of the respondent on a regional level (four regions). I need to apply treatment as whether voter identification laws have been implemented in the state that the respondent lives in when he /she voted. So as i see it i need to aggregate a variable telling how many of the states in the regions had the voter id law at a given time in order give the treatment in the regression.
How do i create such a variable??
Thanks in advance.
All best,
Mikkel Fenneberg
