Hello,
I am dealing with a primary, cross-sectional data set that contains 360 observations and 26 variables. My dependent variable is party choice (political party that an individual voted for) and independent variables include demographics and likert-scale type questions (ranges vary 1 to 5). My problem concerns the mprobit command.
For mprobit partychoice highestedu, baseoutcome(2), I get perfect results.
However, soon as I include other individual-specific variables and the likert-scale questions (I use the prefix i. to treat them as categorical), Stata starts giving endless iterations in the output, which I then have to break.
Can someone please point out the potential errors?
Regards,
Ayesha
