Greetings dear Statalist users,
I am currently trying to calculate a growth rate for GDP per capita for each year based on a specific base year, in this case 1990. I have a panel data set featuring 19 countries for the period 1990-2016, with some missing years in between. I have my current variables calculated in first differences already, but I am not sure how to calculate the growth rate of GDP per capita for each year and country using a specific year (1990 in this case) as my base year. Any suggestions for this would be highly appreciated.
I thank you for your time and patience.
Kind regards,
Rajendra
