Hello Statalisters,

I need to generate an annual variable from 2014 to 2020 in my data set. Currently, I have a column variable that is annual in nature but essentially I need to separate the year so that each case (county) and the funding variable (EMPG2014, EMPG2015, etc.) are consistent. I need this in order to run a proper panel regression so I can isolate annual and county effects. I've attached a data example so you can see what I mean below:

I think this will require the reshape command, but I don't use that often in Stata. I tried transposing in excel but that didn't work so I thought I'd pose the question here. Any assistance would be great.
