Beginner trying to learn Stata. I am assigned to construct a relative frequency table based on place of birth and some values attached to them.
Place of birth and values
So I put them into excel, so I can copy paste them over to Stata.
In Stata here
Then I find the frequency function in Stata
Then I try both variables in both boxes here
But clearly something is wrong, because it doesn't use the numbers as values at all, and give me the frequency I am looking for, or am I done goofed?
