Relational databases can hold data more efficiently than flat files in the sense that when you merge the data your repeat some variable levels in the rectangular file. When we use frames and linked frames and such, and get data from another frame, are the 'got' data in the current data set like a merged file, or are they still in the frames only and just related to? Does this have implications for analyzing large datasets or not?
