For a paper project I am looking at whether Evangelicals have different means in their policy stances across regions. I believe I can do this by either using ANOVA or a ttest but I am not sure what would be the appropriate code if at all. While the dependent variable (Support for Statist Policies) is a continuous variable, the variable of Evangelical is a dichotomous dummy variable and region is a categorical variable ranging from 1 to 5. Do any of you have any suggestions on what I could do?
