Hello!
I am conducting a meta-analysis on the prevalence of depression and would like some help understanding the trim-and-fill funnel plots that Stata has created.
The funnel plot and the Egger’s test (p = 0.048) indicated that publication bias is slightly significant. Therefore, the trim-and-fill method was applied to adjust for the publication bias. However, the method did not impute any new studies onto the funnel plot indicating that there are no missing studies. However, the whole plot was shifted to the right. Why is this and what does this mean?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
