Hi, my friend has a (string) variabel of which the test subjects could answer from one to several weeks as their answer (what week of their pregnancy they experienced something).
She wants to recode it, so first of all it is not a string variabel, but also so it is possible to categorize all the women who answered "week 8" and "week 10" etc. But with some of the women having results as "8+10" or "8,10,11" is this even possibel?
So:
She wants to see how many experienced something in e.g. week 8.
But some of the women experierenced it in several weeks.
And it is all written differently.
Variabel name: uger_1
Thank you all in advance!
("Uger" means "weeks")
