Hi! I'm a struggling university student in her last year and I've got this assignment worth 100% of my mark. I can't seem to generate my string daily date variables into something i can work with. My daily data excludes the weekends and that makes it even harder. I've tried using generate time=date(date, "MDY") but it responds with all missing values generated - not sure why. I've checked to see if my data is MDY and it is.

Any help? pleaseeee
