Dear Statalist,
I have two datasets on conflict that I want to merge but I don't know which merge function to use. One has the dimensions ijt (bilateral attacks from country i to country j in country t) and the other has the dimensions jkt (bilateral relation between country i and country j in time t). As each dataset has one dimension that the other dataset doesn't have I don't think I can use m:1 or 1:m, but I don't know if doing m:m would work either.
Any suggestions? Many thanks
