Dear all,
Is there any way to run Quantile regression using a dependent categorical variable. I have attached my data below. Y= Automation, X1=W1, X2=W2, X3=W3 and X4=W4. I tried labeling the automation level ranges as 1, 2, 3.....and so on. From what I understand Quantile regression cannot be run with Discrete dependent variable. A way around it is probably jittering.
Can somebody help me out with the codes of jittering? Or if there is any other way to deal with the Y variable to run Quantile regression?
