Hi all,
I just came across a STATA procedure called “cmp”.
I am wondering if the “cmp” procedure could be applied to fit the model of Vossmeyer (2016), where five equations are used to deal with sample selection and non-random treatment assignment. The figure below, taken from Vossmeyer (2016), summarizes the situation I am mentioning: the first selection mechanism is, in my study, the selection into answering and not answering to a survey and the selected treatment is occurring because subjects can choose whether assuming or not assuming the treatment. I have the feeling that the “cmp” procedure could be used to fit the following equations. Does anybody have a clue about this? Thank you in advance for your attention and feedback.
