I am working on a large data set that includes observations from two different years (it's not a panel; the respondents are different each year). The samples are similarly sized and include the same survey responses. It was suggested to me that I should combine the observations from both years and do a propensity sample match. Then, with the matched pairs, I should use year and geographic fixed effects in order to see if changes in my (continuous) primary independent variable from Time 1 to Time 2 lead to changes in the dichotomous DV.
First, how do I find and isolate the matched pairs created through psmatch2?
And once I do, is it possible to run year and geographic fixed effects with this data, with a dichotomous DV?
Many thanks!
