Hello
I hope you can help me with something to my bachelor thesis.
I want to make a pr test to compare the difference between men and women, based on their opinion to earmarked paternity leave (for/against earmarking). The data set is based on 290 claims for and against the topic.
We have been told that the command should be "prtest position, by(gender)"
But how do I generate a "gender" categori with the opinions of both men and women? I have coded men with for/against (1/0) and women with for for/against (1/0), but can I generate a new variable from these to?
Thanks alot,
Lucca
