Hey everyone,
I'm fairly new to using Stata, so im still getting use to everything. I am using unbalanced panel data to access pre and post conditions for multiple years submitted by multiple entities (I'm not sure if I said that correctly or efficiently). I have appended multiple years of the data into one .dta file already. Now i'm trying to view my data on a graph with variables representing the outcome and years, based on the pre and post condition. So for example I am looking at POLICYA that was implemented in 2011 and I have data from 2008-2018 for the amount of DEATHS submitted by STATEID. POLICYA being the condition, DEATHS being the outcome, STATEID being the ID of each state, and YEARS being displayed by the year of reporting. I am assuming that when it comes up to graphing and describing data along the time series that the STATEID would be pretty irrelevant, I included it because when attempting to make the line graph for panel data using the tabs I get an error "repeated time values within panel." So, now I'm really stuck and I have a bunch more statistics to run, for example describing everything, and eventually doing a regression on multiple factors. I need help please. I really appreciate it.
