Hello
I am regressing math proficiency (binary) on private tutoring expenditure and school type (private school or not) using a probit specification.
For interpretation, I am calculating marginal effects using -margins- command.
Code:
margins, dydx(tuition_amount private)
Ideally, the effect of 1% increase in tuition amount should be considered (because one dollar change in tuition amount won't make much sense), for which I would need to calculate dyex, instead of dydx. But, for private school, I need to calculate dydx and not dyex. However, Stata doesn't allow dydx and dyex in the same command line. Is there a workaround for this? I am also exporting the results to LaTeX using -esttab-, hence a method that allows direct exporting will be helpful.
Thanks in advance!
