Dear All,
I am writing to you for support concerning MANOVA. I have three DVs (Y1, Y2, and Y3) and two IVs (X1 and X2).
I used the command:
- manova to detect the statistical significance of all equations taken together and of each predictor, and
- mvreg, corr to test the univariate models.
Afterward, I performed some post-estimate tests among which
Test [X1]Y1=[X2]Y1
I am pretty confused about the practical implication of this test. For example, let us assume that the coefficient of Y1 is equal in X1 and X2. Is it possible to have the coefficient of Y1 in equation X1 statistically significant and that in X2 not statistically significant?
Thank you for your support.
Regards.
Maria
