Hello everyone!
I am planning to run a threshold regression model for a cross-sectional data.
However, I am having some doubts while running the model in STATA.
I came across various commands, but unsure of which one to use.
1) there is a newly introduced command 'threshold'. Is the command for only time series data?
2) Hansen's 'thresholdreg' command. Is it meant for Cross sectional data too? I tried to run it but its taking hours and not showing any results
3) xthreg - As the name is evident, the command is meant for only panel data. Is there any way to modify it for cross-sectional data?
Thanks!
