Hello all, if I keep RAM constant at around 32GB, what sort of speed increase in Stata analysis (say something with lots of individual fixed effects) could I expect by moving from i7 to i9 to Xeon processors? I am getting this question from the computer purchasing department at my university - can anyone help me make the case with some information that will give them some idea of the cost vs. speed tradeoff?
