Dear all
I am working with crop productivity data from Bangladesh and there are multiple variables including HH id, Plot name, Crop name, output, name of the material used etc. For the time being, I need to work only on Paddy crop ( I have around 50 varieties of crop in my dataset). How do I code my crop name variable in such a manner that I get to keep all the observations which have Paddy as their crop name and all the others are dropped/removed? I will be working with the other crop names too later on.
Should I use the reshape command or encode the crop name variable?
Kindly let me know.
Thanks
Enakshi
