Hello,
I have recorded the lat and lon coordinates for different rectangular areas. I have group these areas by _ID, named the lat and lon for each point of the shape _Y and _X. I also created a missing _Y and _X at the beginning of each area. I tried using geoinpoly to see if any of the observations in another dataset I have fall into one of these areas. I got 0 matches. However, when I throw the data into a map maker I can very clearly see matches.
I cannot share the data because its sensitive. Is there any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong in my self made coordinates file?
thank you,
Donovan
