Dear Statalist,
I am a PhD student and am using panel data to estimate the effect of macro variables (Inequality, urbanisation and divorce) on crime.
I am trying to use SUR method to estimate this. My panel is for 16 OECD countries for a period of almost 150 years.
I am a bit unsure about the stata command for SUR method as I have always used fixed effects.
The stata command that I use is the following: sureg (crime inequality i.id i.year) (crime urbanisation i.id i.year) (crime divorce i.id i.year) (crime inequality urbanisation divorce i.id i.year).
Can you please guide me through if this command is correct?
I will be really thankful.
Thanks.
