Hi everyone,
I am trying to perform some ex-post power estimations, particularly trying to estimate the ex-post Minimal Detectable Effect (MDE). I am following this post on the World Bank's Blog: https://blogs.worldbank.org/impactev...pe-power-calcs
I am using the formula in the post by calculating the standard deviation of the residual error of the outcome using the predict, residuals post-estimation command after running the model. However, I want to know if there is a more straightforward way to estimate the ex-post MDE or if there is a command in Stata that does it directly.
Thank you,
Tessa
