Hi,
I am new to Statalist forum. Hope someone can explain to me the issue that I am going through. I am using -xtreg- function with year and industry fixed effects. My supervisor told me that I should use clustering and also perform the analysis using the robust option. However, in Stata 16 vce(cluster) and vce(robust) are giving identical results. So, am I missing something? because at this point I am confused how to run the fixed effect model with clustering at first and then run the separate analysis with robust option. Also, clustering option gives robust standard errors and supervisor told that clustering is required in every regression analysis.
Thanks in advance.
