Hi All,
I am running models using the GSEM command for three outcomes (gender wage gap, migrant wage gap, and class wage gap) for workplaces over the period 1996 to 2016 (Please note the data I am using are restricted and so I cannot post the dataex option. Hopefully my description will suffice).
I am interested in observing how the covariance structure of the three combinations of these variables (i.e. gender gap--migrant gap; gender gap--class gap; and migrant gap--class gap) changes over time by plotting the covariance coefficient of each combination for each year. That is, I would estimate the model for each year but I need a convenient way of storing (in Excel or Stata -- whichever is easiest) the covariances for each combination in each year.
I've seen this thread (https://www.statalist.org/forums/for...excel-or-latex) for exporting the covariance matrix to Excel. This is related, but my specific problem is how to export (or save in Stata) the covariance structure and append this for each year.
