Hello

i am working on Pakistan consumption data and using categorical variables. however i want to omit one category of a categorical variable.
As in for the variable "Martial status" i have married, unmarried, divorced, widow and nikkahfied categories. i dont want to use nikkahfied in the regression. how can i omit it?
