Hello,
I have a variable (assessed needs) which has multiple observations per ID, separated by commas. For example:
ID1: Social Skills, Academics, Self Esteem
ID2: Test Readiness, Social Skills
ID3: Basic Needs, Life Skills
I am interested in seeing the distinct counts of each assessed need (e.g., IDs with Social Skills listed) rather than the 2 or 3 needs. How do I calculate this in STATA?
Thank you!
