Hi all
I am trying to find out the average of certain categorical variables.
The variable Name_mat is a string variable, therefore I destring(ed) them and used the label define command to label the codes which I wanted for my analysis.
I used the command tab Name_mat, sum(Name_mat) to find the mean. However, the mean values of the respective variables are the same as the codes they had been coded. Array
