I'm try to run an ordinal regression with random factors. I'm using the meologit command. My dependent variable is a three level ordinal variable, my fixed effect is a continuous variable and my random effect is a continuous variable. I'm having trouble including the random effect. I get back the error "inital values not feasible". The model runs fine when I enter just the dependent variable and the independent fixed effect. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Below is the command that is not working. I used SampleID for the "level variable for equation" because this is individual level data.
