Hi all,
I'm a newbie to Stata and hope someone can help explain the metatrim command.
My understanding of metatrim is that if there is publication bias, it shows how many more studies are required to negate the publication bias (eg: if i have 10 studies, and it shows 13 studies, I need to include another 3 more studies). I am not sure what to look at from the metatrim results..
How can I input the additional 3 studies if I have already included all the available studies?
Is there a way where Stata can calculate the Odds Ratio for the additional studies?
If I input prior commands to the metatrim, does that mean that I have to redo the entire analysis after inputing the 3 additional studies?
Thank you for your time.
Best regards,
Hilary
