I have a panel dataset.

In the dataset, a variable ‘father’s school’ was surveyed once at first year. After second year it was surveyed only for new interviewees.

I want the variable ‘father’s school’ to attach at same persons every year. How can I do?

* variable for Identification number is ‘pid’.
