Dear all,
I will please like to know if i can use two different outcomes for a fixed effects. I am trying to estimate the effect of childhood BMI on educational attainment.
I have data for BMI in childhood and adult years
I also have data for test score in childhood (this represents educational attainment in childhood) but no test score in adulthood. Will it be possible to use educational qualifications a categorical variable which has 7 categories (no formal qualifications, school leaving certificate, clerical qualifications, O-levels (certificate of secondary education), advanced level qualification, Higher National Certificate (HNC) and degree level) to represent educational attainment in adulthood.
so we have year 1 - Childhood BMI and childhood test scores (continuous variable)
year30- Adult BMI and adult educational attainment (categorical variable).
Will this make sense statistically?
