Hi,
I am working with the synthetic control method with the data being spaced unevenly over the years. Its like I have the data for years 1983, 1988, 1990, 1991, 1994, 1996, 1997, and 1999 for various states of India. The policy intervention year is 1997. the tsset command gives strongly balanced panel variable and time variable with gaps. After I run the synth command I receive the error "invalid numlist" in the first step data setup. What can be the possible solution to rectify the issue. kindly help, Thanks.
