Hi Statalisters,
I am using Ben Jann's excellent "oaxaca" command. I have a question regarding interpretation; I hope this is not outside the bounds of this forum. I am running a detailed decomposition. Both the explained and unexplained components are significant. Within the explained component, several of the variables are significant. However, within the unexplained component, none of the variables are significant. What is the correct interpretation of an unexplained component that is significant in general, but which has no significant betas within it?
Thank you,
Robbie
