Dear users,
I recently installed Stata 15 in a new machine with Windows 10. I first download -ftools- to be sure in which folder the ado folder is placed. When I learned that, I copied my ado folder from my old computer (Windows 7) to the new one. I have tested that a few adofiles work as intended. However, when I run -adoupdate, update- Stata only checks ftools updated status (the ado file I used to find out the new ado folder location in Windows 10).
Is there a way to fix adoupdate? Or should I download all adofiles again? I would like to skip that bullet as I have nearly 100 adofiles in my old folder. I'd appreciate any suggestion.
Best,
Ben
