Hello
I was wondering where to add the asterisk on a bar graph representing proportions of a three-levels ordinal variable in 2 groups. The Mann-whiteny U test that I use to detect if there is a significant difference between both groups does not specify which level of this ordinal variable is significantly different in both groups, instead, it gives a judgement on the whole picture (the distribution of the 3 levels of the ordinal variable). So, when I try to represent this in a bar chart, I'm confused where should I put the asterisk??
