Thanks once again to Kit Baum, a new package sscpax is now available for download from SSC. In Stata, use the ssc command to do this.
The sscpax package is described as below on my website, and is designed to save labour when a SSC package requires a list of other SSC packages in order to work.
Best wishes
Roger

TITLE
sscpax: Describe, install, or uninstall a list of SSC packages
DESCRIPTION/AUTHOR(S)
sscpax inputs a list of SSC package names and either describes,
installs, or uninstalls the packages in the list that are present
on SSC. sscpax is useful if the user wants to install a package,
and also to install other SSC packages, on which the first
package is dependent.
